The
Sidekicker Valving system has been designed to eliminate gas lock without
the undesirable action of "banging bottom". The Sidekicker eliminates gas
lock because the traveling valve is opened and closed mechanically. Sidekicker
Valving Systems Dramatically Reduce Fluid Pound on the downstroke. The sidekicker
is mechanically opened, dumping fluid onto the top of the standing valve,
filling the void created by gas in the lower chamber. The net result is a
